Sorry to disappoint, but no bathtubs invovled, just the more prosaic Brita water filter. She got the concoction from Jeffrey Morgenthaler who writes a mixology blog. It’s more like infusion than distilling.

I’m not one for gin drinks, and even prefer my martinis with vodka. However, I would make an exception for this one (or is it that the photos always look so inviting?). Might wait for my friend, who is a bit hardcore, to perfect her homemade gin (without benefit of a still…). We had a little taste at Easter, and let’s just say a few cuts on my hand spontaneously healed themselves! Maybe we will wait until July 4th and give this drink a try.

I agree cocktail should be small. But as big Gorey fans, I think we can make an exception…;-)
